1. Make new document. (like usually i use 640x480). Next press ''D'' to change your foreground black.
2. Fill it with black. Edit -> Fill and then OK
3. Now write your name or word in white. To change your color to white press this arrow.

5. Next expand your text. Select -> Modify -> Expand. Use those settings:

7. Do this:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]9. Next you have to select your text layer. CTRL and click on your text layer. (usually it's in the middle)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]12. Right click on your gradient layer (first) and select Blending Options. Set those settings:
